The Lost Weekend

We partied Friday night. I think I had 2 pitchers of beer. Then we ate at IHOP on the way home.

I had roast venison with potatoes and chocolate cream pie on Saturday. I took home an extra pie and finished it off yesterday.

We all met at Perkins for breakfast this morning. I had a stack of pancakes and an omelette with sour cream.

Tailgate Parties

We spent all day Saturday and most of Sunday in Missoula. The weekend menu was mostly pizza, beer, and fried twinkies with whipped cream.

Thank Goodness

I wondered if I had stopped losing weight. I have heard of women who can't get past a target weight. I hope I'm not one of them.

But I look Different

Last week I didn't lose any weight and this week I lost only one pound. I think I am starting to pay more attention to what I eat.

This started with me not eating a slice or two of bread every day but now I sometimes don't eat any bread or any pasta. I eat more vegetables than I used to and now I like salads.

I exercise more. I take the stairs and I walk every day at lunch. I still have 21 pounds to lose but I never thought I'd get this far. It's been 9 months since I started and I have lost almost 40 pounds. It isn't the weight that makes me look better. It's the inches I've lost in my waist and thighs. I have lost almost 40 pounds but it appears like I have lost more by my clothes and my energy.
